| SEMINAR 2004 |
On 20 February 2004 we held our first annual seminar held in the luxurious conference center at the Emperor Hotel at Caesars in Johannesburg. It was well attended with 0ver 50 people there all very enthusiastic about the chance to find out what we are doing, where we are going and how we are doing it. It was also a chance for the dealers to air their view and to take part in the future of NTS.
The day started off with our Managing Director, Mr. Gunvant Bhavan enlightening us with the history of Cash Registers leading into the present situation and then what the future holds for us. Mr. Bhavan then introduced Sakata San and Tani San from NTS Japan. This was a wonderful occasion for both NTS Japan and the dealers to get to know each other and to share in this historic event.
Sakata San and Tani San brought gifts from Japan for each dealer and in a ceremonial style handed out these gifts to each dealer individually.
The Marketing Director, Mr. Steve Moore, presented to the dealers the new website currently under construction as well as unrolled the 2004 marketing campaign for NTS. The Dealers all got a NTS Cap and T/shirt as well as a presentation folder with the new brochures and posters.
After a scrumptious lunch on the terrace of the Emperor Hotel, the 2004 competition was announced with 3 fabulous all expenses trips to the Far East donated to the three winners and their partners by Sakata San of NTS Japan. The competition will also yield quarterly prices to the lucky quarterly winners that will be production and growth driven in order to assist your business grow in 2004.

| MARKETING 2004 |
NTS Cash Registers plans to assist the dealers in bringing uniformity and growth to their business with a National Advertising campaign aimed at reducing cut-throat price wars that deplete the market of affording good quality service and back-up.
This strategy allows the dealers to compete fairly in the market and gain the upper hand through delivery of service excellence that embraces the interfacing of cash registers with top of the range back-office software, training and support.
The entire campaign is aimed at improving the image of the Cash Register industry meeting the International standards of service excellence, delivery, maintenance & repairs, training and backup. These are factors that every Cash Register dealer has to deliver but finds hard to do considering the amount such service costs. By taking the focus away from heavy discounting in order to get a deal, and placing it on service, backup, training and product excellence, you can now be assured that the prices and margins of the NTS Products will allow you to deliver the quality of service that not only brings in the deals but keeps the customers loyal.
Sales aids such a brochures, posters a working website, competitions, training seminars, newsletters and internet advertising are being made available to the dealers. An accounts executive will be put in place to assist you telephonically and personalized visits are being planned by management.
Why? Well, per the surveys we conducted recently price was only important when it can to cut throat discounting in order to close a deal. Many dealers experience the frustration of the client once he has purchased a discounted product and then turns to the supplier of this discounted product to back-up and assistance and finds that it is either not available, or so expensive that the client can't afford it. What did come out of the surveys was that dealers felt that after-sales-service, technical back-up, product knowledge and training ranks far higher.
NTS Cash Registers listened and is now delivering what the dealers want.

The website is currently under construction and a survey has been sent out to ensure that your needs are fulfilled. Some of the features are the ability to print a brochure directly from the website, download technical manuals, eprom upgrades and technical specifications. A fully comprehensive list of all products is available including the schematics of printers for easy reference for repairs and parts.
Other features include news, competition progress and results and new products with their descriptions and specifications.
Other features will be added as the demand for them is made. This website is being designed as a tool for you the dealer. Please let us know what you want to have on the site as your opinion is important to us.

| TRAINING |
|
NTS Cash Registers will be posting a schedule for training throughout the year. Should you wish to send a person from your organization for training, please book them into the schedule so that we can cater for them. Each training schedule will have a two week prior to the training date as the cut-off time, and room available is limited, so book early to insure your attendance. All training is free of charge.

| COMPETITION |
Entry forms for the competition is being compiled and sent out. For the dealers who were not at the seminar, the competition will be run on a four tier system, Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze. These categories have been devised so as to allow dealers from each category to enter fairly. The Platinum level is for those dealers doing high volume sales per month, the Gold is for the medium volume dealers, Silver for the lower end of volume and the bronze is for the dealers just starting out as well as the occasional dealer.
The prizes are a trip to the Far East for two for each of the three top categories whilst the bronze prize winner will receive a trip to a game lodge for two. The three overseas trips have been donated by NTS Japan who will be your host for the duration of your holiday.
